Exploring India
Travel Guide
As many of you are first time visitors to India, we recommend you base yourselves in Delhi and explore the Golden Triangle, which incorporates Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur

Delhi
The capital of India is split into two parts, spend two days exploring both.
Day 1: Old Delhi - The Historical Heart
Start your day by exploring Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, followed by the Red Fort, a UNESCO site. Next, take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, which is famous for street food, spice shops, and traditional textiles. Visit RajGhat before continuing to Humayun’s Tomb, an architectural masterpiece. In the afternoon, explore the Lotus Temple and end your day with a sunset visit to Bangla Shahib.
Day 2: New Delhi - Modern Attractions
Begin the day at India Gate and continue to Qutub Minar. Grab a morning coffee at Seven Seeds Coffee House before visiting Lodhi Garden, a beautiful park with centuries-old tombs and lush greenery. Explore the trendy Hauz Khas Village, where history blends with modern art galleries, boutiques, and lakeside ruins. For shopping, visit Sarojini Nagar Market for budget fashion or Janpath Market for handicrafts and souvenirs. End the day with sunset at Agrasen ki Baoli, a historical stepwell.
Agra
Home of the Taj Mahal. We recommend one full day.
Sunrise at the Taj Mahal, Heritage Exploration & Luxury Stay
Depending on your preference, you can either take the Gatiman Express from Delhi the night before or opt for the first morning train at 08:10, arriving in Agra by 10:00. Note though that the best time to visit the Taj Mahal truly is at sunrise, when the golden hour creates a majestic glow and the crowds are thinner. After exploring the Taj Mahal, head to Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. For a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal across the river, visit Mehtab Bagh. End the day by checking into one of the many luxury hotels in Agra for a relaxing night.

Jaipur
The Pink City that is vibrant and royal. We suggest 1-2 days here.
Historic Gems & Golden Hour Views with Cultural Dining
Hire a private car and depart bright and early from Agra to Jaipur. The drive is about 4-5 hours but make a stop to Fatehpur Sikri along the way. Arrive in Jaipur by mid-afternoon and after checking into your hotel, explore the stunning Amer Fort and Sheesh Mahal and enjoy the sunset with panoramic views. End the day with dinner at a local restaurant or the hotel.
Architectural Wonders, Sunset Panorama Over the Aravalli Hills
Begin your morning at the City Palace. Just a short walk away, explore Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory. From there, head to the Hawa Mahal. In the afternoon, visit the Albert Hall Museum and Birla Mandir, a gleaming white marble temple. End your day at Nahargarh Fort, high in the Aravalli hills, to catch the sunset over Jaipur's skyline.
Rajasthan
Extend your trip to Ranthambore for Tiger Safari
Ranthambore National Park
It is one of India’s most famous wildlife reserves with a thriving population of Bengal tigers. Located near Jaipur, it was once the royal hunting ground for the Maharajas but has now been transformed to luxury lodges and safaris. Adding Ranthambore to your Golden Triangle Itinerary gives you a chance to see these big cats in the jungle.
